1938 A.J.S. 350c.c. "Silver Streak" Reg.No. DFD 370 Engine No. 38/26SS6817 Frame No. 9172. Built as a super sports version in 250c. c., 350c.c., and 500c.c. versions the "Silver Streak" models were extensively chrome plated, highly tuned and designed to appeal to the sporting rider. In complete contrast to the traditional A.J.S. black and gold finish they were a sign of improved times after the slump earlier in the decade. This example, from a private collection, has seen little use in recent years and is finished to a high standard.
