Contemporary silver centrepiece of circular form, with detachable silver gilt grille, by Grant Macdonald for the Merchant Bank Hill Samuel, before it merged with the T.S.B. and became a subsidiary of Lloyds T.S.B. These centrepieces were presented to employees who completed twenty-five years service, presentation inscription to base (London 1988), Grant Macdonald. All at approximately 20ozs, 21cm diameter CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. Heavily tarnished minor surface scratching to outside. Inner of base is quite badly scratched, grille also tarnished, particularly to top section and is part marked with Lion passant and date letter, no signs of major damage or repairs

All at approximately 6ozs, 15.5cm overall length CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good, some minor surface scratching, front panel has some denting towards lower left area of engine-turning. Both bottom corners have very minor bruising. Cap has a small dent in engine-turning just above inset crest. Bayonet cap works and cork is still in place but we have not tested it for leaks. No signs of major damage, splits or repair. Marks slightly distorted. No signs of any engraving or other decoration being removed

Pair George IV silver miniature chamberstick with vine leaf bases, handles and candle holders, separate sconces and snuffers (one snuffer possibly not original) (Birmingham 1832), maker - J. W., 6.5cm across CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Both chambersticks have been heavily cleaned. Hallmarks are slightly rubbed and appear to be 1830 and 1832, Sconces are unmarked, both snuffers have lion passant mark. One appears to match bases, older has different floral pattern and may not be original. No visible signs of major damage or repair

D., together with three silver coasters with engraved crests and pierced slip-in covers (one cover with blind insert), London 1766, same maker and two associated cut glass bottles with white metal covers and same engraved crest (unmarked). Approximately 46ozs weighable silver CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Stand is very good. some minor surface wear, pitting and scratching. Armorial is worn. No signs of major damage or repair. Large caster is in good condition, some minor surface scratching, cover is dented. Smaller caster with matching cover and blind insert has some denting to body and surface scratching. Cover is undamaged. Other caster has similar dents to body and foot us slightly distorted. Engraved crests are worn on all pieces. Large bottle has some minor chips, cover is good with some wear to decoration. Smaller bottle similar but with large chip to base, cover also worn. Marks on frame and casters clear, bottle covers unmarked

Antique paste set rivière necklace with graduated old cut paste stones in cut-down collet setting CONDITION REPORT Very good condition, length approx 48cm, largest stone measures approx 8.7mm and graduate to approx 5mm, clasp works well. No obvious damage or repairs, stones are all still lively and bright with very little signs of any wear. Settings and links in very good condition, the setting is possibly silver. Total gross weight approx 43.1 grams
Victorian pearl, diamond and green garnet foliate spray brooch, the foliate scrolls with rose cut diamonds, mixed cut green garnets and cultured pearl buds (not tested for natural origin), approximate length 45mm CONDITION REPORT Setting tests as silver and gold. One pearl is missing (top centre), one pearl is missing (top centre), some repairs visible at the back and possibly the brooch was originally part of a larger piece of jewellery. The pearls have NOT been tested for natural origin and therefore maybe cultured. Some glue suggesting they have been re-glued/re-set. Sizes approx 5-6mm. Surface abrasions to the green stones and one is missing. Total gross weight approx 7.5 grams
Victorian chalcedony and turquoise oval pendant suspended from a later chalcedony and turquoise bead necklace CONDITION REPORT Chalcedony beads approximately 8.3mm. Turquoise beads approximately 5.3mm. Length approximately 50cm. Clasp appears to be silver gilt. It is not known whether the spacers are gold. The pendant is converted from a brooch, difficult to tell whether it is gold. Total gross weight 45 grams
