A George V silver circular inkwell, the rim with pen recess, Deakin & Francis, Birmingham, 1929, 19.7cm, weighted.CONDITION: Lid is damaged and dented. A few dings around the base rim. Cluster of small dings on the side of the well. No liner. Numerous minor scratches in general. Average to poor condition. Hallmarks clear.
A Victorian silver rectangular inkstand, Roberts & Belk, Sheffield, 1866, 27cm, 33.5 oz, with matching mounted glass wells and taperstick.CONDITION: One well lid detached. Chips to both glass wells in general. Tired engraved inscription. Engraved decoration quite tired in places. Some minor edge nicks to the silve border and there are some minor surface scratches in general, commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks clear but with some rubbing.
