Early 20th century Japanese silver three piece tea set, comprising teapot of bell form with embossed and applied decoration in relief of Iris flowers in water, similarly decorated swing handle and domed slip in lid, with realistically modelled Iris flower finial, together with matching two handled sugar bowl and milk jug, all pieces with seal and character marks to bases, possibly from Yokohama, all at approximately 27oz, teapot 18cm in height. (3)Condition report: Teapot lid finial is possibly crushed and may be missing a petal. There is overall denting to the lid and distortion to the rim. The body of the teapot has overall denting to it, with the handle possibly pushed inwards. There are also minor losses to applied decoration on the handle. The Milk jug has an old solder repair to the base of the handle and overall denting and marks to the surface.The sugar bowl has overall denting and possible losses to applied decoration on one handle. The finial from the lid is missing and there is some denting and a slight distortion to the rim.
