Of Magic Circle interest: A shallow circular Arts & Crafts silver bowl, London c.1918, Omar Ramsden & Alwyn Carr, of circular form, with lobed rim, central embossed badge of The Artists Rifles and stamped inscription, 'H. J. Collings, 1919. Many Thanks. OTC.' approx 13cm diameter, approx 3oz. Note: Herbert J. Collings was one of the founding members of the Magic Circle, and sometime President of the Magic Circle. The Artists Rifles was an unusual regiment comprised of artists, musicians, actors and architects.

An Art Nouveau silver plated bottle stand in the style of WMF, apparently unmarked, the twin holders cast with trailing grape vines, with central figure of a male Bachanalian nymph holding aloft a wine vessel observed by a cherub, approx 24cm high x 44.5cm wide. CONDITION REPORT: One flower tendril broken at back base, otherwise good condition.
