A collection of silver, including a silver sprung lid cut glass dressing jar by Thomas Johnson I and a silver cup from a hip flask both engraved with a sail coat of arms. Hallmarked: London, 1960, TJ. Also two napkin rings, one with a bark texture (hallmarked: SJC, London) and one with mythical beast and boss borders. Hallmarked: J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd, Birmingham. Longest 8cm. Weight 141g excluding lidded jar.
JOSEPH ANGELL SENIOR & JOSEPH ANGELL JUNIOR; an early Victorian hallmarked silver cylindrical mustard with red glass liner and scrolling thumbpiece, London 1847, a further silver drum mustard (no liner), retailed by Harrods, and a silver plated mustard and spoon with blue glass liner (3). Condition Report: The lid of the mustard pot with the blue liner in is slightly loose. There are black marks to the top of the lid. The lid of the pot with the red liner is good, though there are marks to the to the top, which may come off when polished. The smaller of the three does not have a liner, but appears good.
An interesting group of collectors' items including a brass shell case, a small casing converted to a lighter, an autograph book, a cased silver Education Authority medallion, book of Common Prayer, ribbon bar to accompany medals, two bottle labels and two postcard booklets.
