A Scottish Victorian dirk by Robert & Henry Bruce Kirkwood, Edinburgh, 1882. The hilt with Celtic decorated mount and a faceted crystal pommel. The leather scabbard with similar silver mounts and subsidiary knife and fork. Also a matching unmarked skean dhu and a silver plated citrine set plaid brooch, engraved with the national motto of Scotland "Nemo Me Impune Lacessit" (no one provokes me with impunity) and thistle embossed edge.
