A George III silver teapot and stand, Henry Green London 1787, the teapot of oval form with reeded banding to the body, spout and handle, the hinged cover with wooden finial and handle with carved thumb piece, 14cm high, 16.7ozt, with a matching oval stand on four ball feet, 16cm wide, 4ozt (2) Accompanied by a February 1958 edition of Country Life magazine referencing the purchase of this teapot (pg. 342) and receipt of purchaseCondition Report; Teapot: Fair order. There are a moderate amount of small dents to the body concentrated to the base and spout. Moderate scratching and pitting the the body and spout.There is evidence of large split in the base and subsequent solder repair (please see pictures). There are also a couple of small patches of solder repair to the base and around the top of the handle where it meets the teapot, and possible signs of further solder repair around the banding.Cover is slightly stiff, but opens easily and closes flush. The knop is loose, and the silver mount to the knop is slightly twisted. Handle is secure.Base: Fair order. Some possible signs of solder repair around the feet. Some denting concentrated around the border, and moderate scratching. Feet are heavily dented, and it does no sit flat on a level surface, wobbling slightly.Hallmarks to both pieces are crisp and clear.

A pair of George II silver sauce boats by William Grundy, London 1755, each of classic form with shaped borders, acanthus capped scrolling handles on three hoof feet, each with inscription to underside reading ?Rdo Yates paternum inse animum dedit Tho. Milburn. 1756? each 22cm long, weight of pair 28.02ozt (2) Provenance: Ruyton Hall, ShropshireCondition Report; Good order. No major dents or signs of repair. Both show small splits to the central cuspings (see pictures for illustration) - these are in the same spots on both examples, but no other signs of splitting. Some pitting to the handle and the base of the feet. General scratching and wear consistent with age and use to the exterior and interior. Engraved crest is crisp. Some wear to the hallmarks, particularly to the maker's marks on both examples. Both examples sit flat on a level surface.

A set of ten early 19th century French silver gilt tots, each of plain polished cylindrical form with reeded borders, together with a matched yellow metal example, each 3.4cm high, gross weight 5.64ozt (11) Provenance: Ruyton Hall, ShropshireCondition Report; Overall condition is good. There is moderate wear to the gilt on all pieces, most notably to the bases and edges. All show a small to moderate amount of denting. The yellow metal example shows thinning and loss around the rims, the others show some denting and light thinning to the rims. All have moderate to heavy scratching and wear. No signs of repair. Please find images of the hallmarks (found on the ten silver gilt pieces) attached. No pieces have engravings or initials.

A selection of tableware and accessories, to include; a five-piece cut glass cruet set, each piece of faceted baluster form with pierced white metal mounts, set to an ebonised wooden stand, 30cm high, together with a novelty paperweight in the form of a pepper, 7.5cm high, a carved carnelian seal, 6.2cm high, a brass seal, 6.6cm high, a novelty paper clip in the form of a duck's head, 11cm long, a white metal teapot stand, a George III silver teaspoon and a white metal example, a circular brass trinket dish, a yellow metal pill box, and seven assorted decanter labels (22) Provenance: Ruyton Hall, ShropshireCondition Report; Cruet: Central pillar is loose, making the structure slightly wobbly when picked up. On a flat surface, the carousel is slightly wobbly, but the base is stable. Handle is secure. No cracks or losses to the stand.There is a large split to the cover of the smallest caster, and the beginnings of splits in a couple of the other pieces. There are several, very large fractures and losses to the bases. There are small chips and nibbles to the high points and facet edges of the cut glass. No large cracks or breakages to the glass bodies which render it unusable.
A late 19th century Russian silver and niello snuff box, of rounded rectangular form decorated with a chequered design, the cover depicting a troika driving carriage scene in a rural landscape, vacant cartouche to reverse, gilt interior, 84 standard and Moscow marks, assay marks for Viktor Vasilyevich Savinsky (date worn), 11cm x 6cm, weight 4.61oztCondition Report; Overall very good. There are a couple of dents to the cover, but no other denting, splitting or signs of repair. There is scratching, pitting and wear consistent with age, most notably around the cover and the cartouche on the reverse. Gilt interior shows moderate wear and scratching. Hallmarks are heavily worn. Hinged cover is in good order, opening and closing smoothly and sitting flush with the box.
A silver and enamel pill box, import marks for Cohen & Charles, London 1926, of circular form, decorated with black and cream enamel, the hinged cover depicting the silhouette a a man serenading a woman on a balcony, 4cm diameter, weight 35.2gmsCondition Report; Overall good. There is a small chip/loss to the enamel measuring about 2mm just below the hinge of the cover. No other chips or losses to the enamel on the covers or sides. Some scratching and general wear to the enamel. No denting, splitting, thinning or repair to the silver. Gilt to interior is heavily worn. Hinged cover opens smoothly and closes with a snap, but does leave a slight gap around the rim.
A Victorian silver vesta case by Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1889, designed as a travelling portmanteau adorned with various destination travel labels and tags, 4.1cm x 2.8cm, weight 13.8gms Condition Report; Condition is good. Moulding is clear, some wear to some of the lettering (varying amounts between each label), moderate wear concentrated at the corners and seams. General scratching and wear to the surface. Consistent with age and use.There is a shallow but relatively wide dent to the side covered in labels - this is most visible when viewed side on. There is some denting to the corners, but no other dents, splitting or signs of repair. The hinged cover is in working order, opening relatively smoothly and closing with a snap, lying flush. Bail is in good order. Hallmarks show some wear, most wear on the 'H&T' hallmark, but all are legible.
A novelty silver open salt, Chester circa 1900, realistically modelled as a pig and trough, the trough measuring 4.9cm x 2.9cm, weight 13.3gms (at fault) Condition Report; Overall condition is poor. There appears to have been previous damage and later repair wear the feet meets the trough - there is heavy spitting to the legs and a thick, textured build up at the join, which is indicative of solder repair. There are no other signs of splitting, but there is additional signs of solder repair to the trough. There is heavy denting, scratching and to the pig and the trough. The pig appears to have had glass eyes at one point, but these are now absent (there are no eyes). The hallmarks are heavily worn.
