Each bird set with eleven small rose diamonds in silver and gold and with three small untested pearls, approx. 36mm long overall, 3.9g gross. Together with leather covered box marked 'Dibdin & Co. Ltd, 189 Sloane Street, S.W.1'Note; Sold with a copy of an insurance certificate dated 24th October 2015 for £975. Condition Report: Overall good condition for age, a very small 'ding' to the silver wing border of one of the wings, otherwise no signs of mis-use. Diamonds bright for rose cuts, pearls untested but lustrous white colour.

This example appears to be in working order as the balance moves back and forth freely. W have wound it a little and though ticking it runs for approx 5-15 seconds and then stops.

In a foliate-pierced two-piece hinged case, 59.5mm diameter, Bulls eye glass, fusee movement with a latice-pierced bridge cock, silver 'Avance Retard' round regulation dial, square tapering 'Egyptian' pillars and engraved with the makers name, the dial with a central engraved-brass(?) rotating alarm disc with pointer, within a white enamel chapter with black Roman numerals. Condition Report: We do not guarantee any watch for accuracy, We haven't applied any power and so at this stage we would have to say not funtioning, however the movement doesn't appear on first inspection to have any obvious problems to the naked and uninformed eye. Case in overall good condition for its age, general wear and tear, hinge good, bell present.
