At the Paris Exhibition in 1900, many examples of Tostrup’s work were snapped up by museums, including two exquisite standing dishes which are at the Württembergisches Landesmuseum in Stuttgart. On a smaller scale, spoons proved very popular too, and Liberty & Co. of London offered them for sale as Yuletide gifts in 1896 and 1898.

This simple four-piece service was made by John Page in 1817, apart from the slop bowl made by John Baddeley. Christopher Hartop suggests the possibility that this silver design may have originated with John Page whose shop was just around
