A Victorian silver-plated novelty inkwell in the form of a porter's trolley, the handle fitted with two pen rests, centred by a mounted glass inkwell, 13 cm. high Small repair to base of stand, miniscule chip to one corner of base of bottle, exceedingly minor and consistent with age and use. There is a minuscule chip to one corner of base of inkwell, exceedingly minor and only visible under magnification, consistent with age and use. The repair is to one side of the front-most bar that runs across the base,  at junction of bar and “U” shaped frame and one wheel does not sit flush with flat surface owing to the angle that the bar that holds the wheels has been applied
