A Russian silver gilt Old English pattern twelve place dessert service, Moscow circa 1896-1908, comprising twelve knives and twelve forks, each bearing the monogram JS, impressed marks and Imperial cypher for Karl Faberge The monogram on this service is believed to relate to the Stucken family, to whom the vendor is related. The family are known to have fled Prussia in 1918 to settle in France and this service has remained in the family by descent.
