All at approximately 5ozs. 9.7cm overall length.General overall condition very good, some minor suface scratching and wear, interior gilding scratched and worn, hinge good. Hallmarks slightly rubbed but legible.
William IV silver wine coaster of circular form, with pierced and embossed border depicting fruiting vines, turned wood base and inset silver disc (London 1833) Maker Kitchen, Walker & Kerr, 15.5cm in diameter.Good overall condition, a few minor dents around the circumference of the base. Central disc to wooden base has a minor dent. Otherwise in good order.
George IV silver wine funnel of conventional form with gadrooned border and fluted decoration and engraved armorial (London 1825) Maker Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard. All at approximately 5.5ozs. 14cm overall length.General overal condition quite good, some surface scratching, denting and wear, funnel end bent, gadrooned border to insert is distorted and inner surface is dented on opposite side to shell hook. Hallmarks rubbed.
George V silver pill box of oval form with blue guilloché enamel decoration to hinged cover (Birmingham 1918) Maker S Blanckensee & Son Ltd. All at approximately 1oz. 6.5cm overall length.Rear of inner rim (by hinge) has some minor distortion. A couple of small dents and some scratching to the base. A very minor nick to the enamel. Georgian silver snuff box of rectangular cushion form with brite cut engraved decoration, flush fitting hinged cover with gilded interior. (Birmingham 1816) Maker Samuel Pemberton. All at approximately 1.5ozs. 6.5cm overall length.General overall condition very good, some minor surface scratching and wear, two corners have been knocked slightly, interior gilding is worn, hinge is good, cover closes properly but is slightly loose fit. No holes or any major damage or repair. Hallmarks very slightly rubbed.
George III silver scissor action candle snuffer / wick trimmer of conventional form, (London 1772), maker John Booth, together with an associated silver tray, raised on four claw and ball feet (London 1771), maker John Cafe. All at approximately 9ozs. Tray 18cm in length. (2)General overall condition quite good, snuffer tray has some minor surface scratching, denting and wear, feet are slightly bent. Snuffers are reasonably good, hinge has been repaired and spring is missing, decoration is worn. Although only one year apart in date the two items are by different makers and although close are not a perfect match. Hallmarks on both are legible.
George III silver tankard of baluster form with scroll handle on circular foot, (London 1765), maker William & James Priest, all at 8.5ozs, 11.5cm in height The tankard is heavily tarnished so it is not easy to distinguish damage on it. There is some distortion to the foot rim, although the tankard still sits flat. The body of the tankard has various dents around it, there are some signs of possible solder repair around the foot rim where it meets the body. Please see additional photographs for further details.
Pair of 19th century Russian silver gilt salt cellars of rectangular form with fluted decoration and foliate borders raised on pedestal feet, marks to interior- 84 and dated 1828, all at 2.5ozs, 8cm in diameter.Both are in good overall condition, one salt has heavier wear to the gilding on the interior. One salt has an engraved initial on it, the other does not. One has signs of a possible solder repair around the rim. Please see additional photographs for more information.
