The lidded dish having a classic mountain scene with Geisha lady. Metal engravings from Japan are created by the ancient art of Chokin, gilded with gold and silver, the engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the Samurai warriors. Along with a Noritake open top lidded pot with hand painted swan and lake scene. All marked to base. Largest measures 19.5cm (width).
