A pair of George III silver sauce tureens of oval form, with engraved armorial shields, applied bead borders and loop handles, on cast oval pedestal bases (London 1777) John Schofield. All at approximately 26ozs. 20.5cm across handles.General overall condition very good, some minor surface wear, scratching and pitting, no evidence of any major damage or repair, interior of one tureen has some black marks and attempt has been made to remove them. Engraving is crisp. Marks are inside of base at the edge and are clear. Photographs to follow.

All at approximately 11ozs. 25.5cm diameter.General overall condition very good, some minor denting and surface scratching, rim slightly bent in one place at approximately 5 oclock with crest upright, engraved decoration is worn in places, central armorial crest is quite worn. Hallmarks are clear.

Interior is worn, some surface damage and verdigris, copper showing thru in places.

George III silver swing handled sugar basket of flared cylindrical form, with engraved armorial and pierced diaper decoration, fitted blue glass liner (London 1769) Edward Aldridge II. All at approximately 2ozs. 12.5cm overall height including handle.General overall condition quite good, some minor surface wear, and scratching, top rim is slightly distorted, handle has been repaired on one side just above hinge and both hinges have been repaired where they join the top rim, there are no visible repairs to pierced decoration other than where hinges join the rim, base may have been repaired. Blue glass liner, undamaged but possibly a replacement. Hallmarks clear.

Queen Anne silver sugar castor of cylindrical form, with pierced slip on cover with bayonet fitting, (London 1711), maker Charles Adam, 15.5cm in height, 5.7ozs.General overall condition good, no visible evidence of major damage or repair, some overall surface wear, scratching and minor denting, inner top rim of base is slightly bent, base is slightly uneven, cover is in good condition. There may have been engraving removed from the flat surface of the area opposite the Hallmarks but it is difficult to be sure, silver does not feel particularly thin but there are some signs of marks in the surface. The cover has a faint trace of a makers mark showing on surface to the lower end of the pierced decoration about half an inch above the rim between the lugs. It is upside down and appears to be the same AD as on the body, it is very worn and we cannot see the Lion Passant. We will attempt to photograph it.
Contemporary silver three piece silver tea set, comprising teapot of octagonal faceted form, with angular wooden handle and hinged stepped cover on an octagonal base in the Art Deco style, matching sugar and cream jug (Sheffield 1978) Mappin & Webb. All at approximately 34ozs. Teapot 27cm across.
