A George II silver salver, by William Williams, London, 1746, shaped circular and on four pad feet, engraved with a coat of arms, repaired, 35cm diameter, 26oz 16dwt, 834gr. Fully marked underneath. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving and the high points. The engraving looks contemporary to the piece and there is no obvious erasure though the centre is somewhat thin.
