EDWARD VII SILVER TWO SECTION, TWIN HANDLED, INKSTAND, raised on four ball and claw feet. London, 1903, maker's mark: Charles & George Asprey. 10 Troy ozs approx. 22cm wide. CONDITION REPORT: Inkstand base in good overall condition, surface wear, minor dinks as expected, maker's mark and hallmark a little rubbed, glass inkwells appear in good overall condition, very minor nibbles to bottom rims as expected, and a couple of minor chippings to top shoulders, but no big significant chips.
LATE 19TH CENTURY VICTORIAN SILVER SPIRIT KETTLE ON STAND, raised on cabriole legs and swept feet, Sheffield, 1897. 30 Troy ozs approx. 29.5cm high approx. CONDITION REPORT: Handle has been off at some point and repaired, surface wear, scratches and minor dents, hallmarks slightly rubbed.
GEORGE V IRISH SILVER POTATO RING, pierced and chased with animals, flower heads and scroll designs and having an engraved cartouche, Dublin, 1912. Maker's mark slightly rubbed, possibly: West and Sons, 13 Troy ozs approx. 18cm diameter to top, 20.5cm diameter to base. CONDITION REPORT: Condition overall is good, no obvious damage or splits to pierced work, cartouche has engraved initials, hallmarks clear, although maker's mark is slightly rubbed.

CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition, commensurate with age, Welsh watch paper therein, tarnished with wear and tear, but no significant damage.
19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD, BRASS INLAID SEWING BOX, revealing fitted interior comprising: mother-of-pearl sewing accessories and various glass and silver plated jars, boxes etc. all within velvet interior and having drawer to base. 33.5cm wide x 24cm deep x 18cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Box itself has some minor splits, lots of surface wear, scratches etc. Interior looks fairly complete, some of jar stoppers have chips, minor rim chips etc. Surface wear/scratching as expected. Velvet interior a little grubby and worn.

McNalty, A.S.C. from his brother officers in the Mechanical Transport, 4th July, 1905', the cylinder base with names of the brother officers. Sheffield 1903. (Both loaded). 20cm high approx. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Rather grubby and tarnished, need a good clean, no obvious major damage, cracks or restoration, hallmarks clear, minor dings and dents to the lower rim.

No obvious major significant damages, hallmarks minor rubs but good overall. Some surface wear, scratches and minor dinks.
DOULTON LAMBETH STONEWARE TAPERING SILVER MOUNTED BEAKER BY HANNAH BARLOW, the central sgraffito incised decoration depicting goats within banded borders, London hallmarks to rim. Impressed and incised marks to base, dated: 1880, monogram: HB for Hannah Barlow. 13.5cm high. CONDITION REPORT: One or two minor chips, nibbles to banded borders surrounding central decoration, silver hallmarks rubbed but no other significant damage, surface wear as expected.

London, 1749, maker's mark: William Peaston, 20 Troy ozs approx., 27cm diameter. CONDITION REPORT: Some marks and scuffs in places. General wear for age. There is a sticker mark left hand side of silver. Slight tarnishing in places.Provenance: From a private deceased estate of a family with connections in Ireland
LARGE SOLID SILVER MULTI-SECTION CENTRE PIECE OF TRIFORM SHAPE, having three branches, overall decorated with flower heads and foliage above three scantily clad females carrying floral swags above heavy set tripod base, decorated with shells, foliage and flower heads, raised on three scrolling feet, having engraved armorial depicting shield surmounted by knights helmet and shoulder armour. London, 1843. Maker's marks for Charles Thomas Fox and George Fox. Approx. weight of over 170 Troy ozs. 53.5cm high. CONDITION REPORT: One of the females is detached from the centre piece but available, two of the female figures floral swags are broken but pieces are available. One of the branches fittings has broken off in the centre piece but the branch is available and the other branch, the fitting has broken off the branch itself so cannot be connected to the centre piece at this stage. Surface wear, minor dings, etc. as expected, hallmarks a little worn in places, no other obvious major problems.

CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition, hallmarks a little rubbed but ok, surface wear and scratches as expected but no significant damage or losses.
British WWII Officer's Medals and research - Major Peter Henning including copies of service records and citations of his service in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps and The Queens Royal West Kent later attached to the 3rd Battalion 15th Punjab Regiment. His medals include: 1939 - 1945 Star, Italy Star, Defence Medal and War Medal with mention in despatches and Punjab collar and cap badge in silver. An excellent collection with a great deal of research, worth a view.
