A LARGE EARLY 20TH CENTURY JAPANESE BLACK LACQUER RECTANGULAR KIMONO PRESENTATION TRAY IN ORIGINAL BOX. Decorated with the Seven Autumn Grasses, with mother-of-pearl inlaid flowers, silver grasses and gilt leaves, the underside in nashiji lacquer, with cloth bag and original wooden box titled with the pattern and the date November 1924. 64.5cm x 40cmSlight surface crack to one corner from rim leading finely into the base of the tray, otherwise this is in lovely condition and the lacquer is in excellent order. The wooden box has small holes to top but is clearly inscribed and in good order overall.

The black lacquered album decorated to the front with a silver dragon, the silk mounted pages with 72 postcard images, some coloured, of towns, portraits, temples, many of Nagasaki; Together with A COLLECTION OF EARLY 20TH CENTURY CHINESE BIBLES AND BOOKS. Eight bibles, together with an opera, The ABC of Chinese Writing, a Chinese story book, a school handbooks and a collection of six coloured paper printed wall hanging, and a wooden book cover, all circa 1920Overall in good order. Some minor staining and wear to silk backing, very minor and typical discolouration to some of the postcards.
A COMPOSITE SET OF TWELVE 20TH CENTURY STERLING SILVER MINIATURE CHINESE FIGURES, TWO WHITE METAL HAT ORNAMENTS AND A HANGING PLAQUE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY AND LATER. The figures including four Hong Kong Sterling Silver 925 examples, stamped with retailer's marks for Tacking, the remainder stamped Sterling Silver 925, variously posed as assorted trade and fishermen, the hat ornaments cast as immortals carrying implements, the hanging ornament as a figure riding a kylin. The miniature figures approx. 6cm high (15)Some of the tradesmen's implements, wares and shawls have come loose, although they are loosely attached by wire in most instances. There is some tarnishing overall, minor areas of misshaping and bending to figures and implements. The other items are in good order, they do have some minor tarnishing. They come with later wooden stands.
FOUR CHINESE PORCELAIN ITEMS, 18TH CENTURY. To include two sections of blue and white porcelain bottle vases, Kangxi (1662-1722) with added silver caps. Together with two porcelain tankards in blue and white and famille rose. largest tankard 13cm tall. (4)Bottle vases shortened at shoulder, without cracks or chips and no signs of repair. Blue and white tankard with replacement metal handle and slight chips to rim. Famille rose tankard with slight chip to rim.
A RUSSIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL NAPKIN RING, A CHINESE WHITE METAL, BEADED AND LACQUERED NECKLACE AND A HORN AND WHITE METAL MOUNTED SCENT BOTTLE HOLDER. The napkin ring stamped with Kokoshnik 84 marks and H.3, decorated with scrolling enamelled flowers on a textured silver ground, gross weight 17.5 grams, the necklace with silvered tassels, figures of buddha, probably in horn, lacquered beads and black beads, with Egyptomania-cast links, the small casket-shaped hinged scent bottle holder inset with white metal baskets and flowersThe scent bottle holder lacking one glass scent bottle, the other lacking stopper, some surface scratching. The necklace with some discolouration, dirt and mottling to beads and buddhas, some of the white metal Egyptian style links are slightly bent. The napkin ring with tarnishing, otherwise ok.
A SILVER REPOUSSE BUCKET, THAI MARKET, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. Of octagonal lobed form with handle decorated with figures of Thai motifs and 'thepanoms' deities, two uncarved shields to the side on a leafy scroll ground. Marked 'Silver'; in Chinese with a further 'Mei he' workshop mark. 21cm diam. x 16.5cm tall. Total weight 720 g
TWO SILVER PLATED ITEMS, 20TH CENTURY. To include a teapot with burner stand with wood form legs and handle; Together with a Middle Eastern tea caddy of octagonal form with handles, stamped to base with '8' and Islamic characters. Teapot 29cm tall on stand. (2) Both in good overall condition without damages or repairs.
