Fry & Sons Ltd Bristol London ¼ lb Chocolate Box. [Pte. John Caffrey VC 2nd York and Lancaster Regt. won the VC near Brique on 16th Nov 1915. He, along with Corp. Stirk (R.A.M.C.) set out under heavy fire to rescue a man lying near enemy trenches. After reaching him Stirk fell wounded, whereupon Caffrey bandaged him and brought him back to safety first and the returned for the other wounded man] (Source Gallaher Ltd, Victoria Cross Heroes, 3rd Series No, 72).
