British 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword, blade etched EVIIR cipher and crowned Ist V.B. Royal Fusiliers, silver plated regulation guard with bullion dress knot, in its plated scabbard. Good condition, plating worn, blade cleaned. Overall 100cms, blade 84cms.
Third Reich Period WW1 Pattern Iron Cross 1st Class Screwback, fine example of a Third Reich era made example, standard form with imperial crown “W” and 1914 to the obverse. Much of the original black finish to the award and silver frosting to the frame. Reverse of the award fitted with large dish back fitting. Good example overall.

Hampshire Regiment Officers Forage Cap, fine example of blue cloth body with woven central band, bullion embroidered regimental officers forage cap badge to the centre, short pattern peak with thick silver wire. Laced decoration to the top of the cap. Interior with leather sweatband and officers quilted lining, gilt tooled retailers details of Larcom & Veysey 51 Queens Street Portsea. Some light scattered mothing and staining but generally a good untouched example.
Third Reich Rural Police Bayonet by Alexander Coppel Solingen, with two piece stag horn grips having aluminium police badge to the centre. Eagle head nickel silver top and cross guard with oak leaves relief. Housed in its original brown leather scabbard with steel top and lower chapes. Attached to the scabbard is the original 1937 dated brown leather frog. Reverse of the cross guard and top scabbard mount stamped “L.H 113”. Fine single edged blade with fuller to the back edge. Makers trade mark to both sides of the blade. The blade measures 33cms, overall 48cms. Some Verdigris to the scabbard fittings but overall a good untouched example.

Unusual 20th Century Indian Dagger Jambya, iron hilt inlaid with silver flowers and foliage, tapered polished steel blade with raised medial ridge, in its brass mounted sheath; and a 20th century Bosnian knife from Sarajevo, single edge blade, fluted nickel hilt and plain nickel covered sheath. Blades 20cms and 18.5cms respectively. Both 20th century, good condition. (2 items)

Housed in the original cardboard case and accompanied by various items of paperwork and his identity discs; WW1 Allied Victory medal awarded to “M7602 E W HORSEY L CK MTE R.N”, Silver War badge numbered to the reverse “492061” and certificate from Buckingham Palace welcoming home from captivity as a prisoner of war in 1918 for 75836 Pte W Lavender 7th Battn Royal Fusiliers. 801117 Gunner J A Padmore 295th Brigade Royal Field Artillery died of wounds on 22nd April 1917 and is buried at St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen.

Scarce Early Victorian Earl of Chester’s Hussars Officers Full Dress Sabretache, fine black velvet faced sabretache with thick silver wire braid border, bullion and velvet cloth Victorian crown above Prince of Wales plumes, three part velvet scroll below with bullion wire “EARL OF CHESTER’S YEOMANRY”. Three white metal D ring fittings to the top. Black leather backing, complete with pouch which has the paper label of Hawkes Moseley. Remains in generally very good overall condition.

Bavarian Reserve Officer of Chevauleger Regiment 2,4,6 or 8, superb example of a Bavarian officers helmet with large frosted silver helmet plate having gilt reserve cross to the centre. Officers pattern state and national cockades. Frosted silver scaled officers chinstraps. Cruciform pattern spike base with silvered officers securing stars and fluted Bavarian pattern spike. Helmet is complete with the original leather sweatband and officers cloth lining to the interior. Interior has paper label with image of Garde du Korps helmet and “Prima Qualitat”. The helmet is accompanied by officers pattern field cover with red central manoeuvres band. Painted to the inside of the cover is “XIII”. The helmet is a magnificent example retaining nearly all of the finish to the fittings.
Personalised 1936 Pattern SS Officers Chained Dress Dagger, fine example of the model 1936 pattern dress dagger having type II chains. Black ebony grip with eagle and enamelled SS runes fitted. Nickel silver cross guard and top mount. Officers dress knot / portopee attached to the grip. Dagger is complete with the original scabbard having much of the anodised finish remaining, swastika central fitting and plain top and lower fittings. Type 2 linked hanging chains with runes and deaths head links. Reverse of the chains stamped with SS runes acceptance stamp. The top fitting is engraved with the initials of the original officer “G S”. Correct pattern officers blade without trade mark. Blade etched with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue”. Some light surface staining to the blade but generally still good condition. Blade measures 22cms, overall 36 ½ cms.

Third Reich Model 1933 SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by E Pack & Sohne, black ebony grip fitted with metal eagle and enamel SS runes. Nickel silver cross guard and top mount. Housed in its original scabbard with much of the anodised finish remaining. Attached to the scabbard is the short leather hanger with the clip stamped RZM M5/8. Blade remains in very good condition having deep etched motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue” in gothic script and the reverse side with RZM 1211/39 and SS runes, this RZM code being that for the maker E Pack & Sohne. Much of the cross graining remains to the blade with just minor finger marks. Blade measures 22cms, overall 37 ½ cms.
