This Rolls Royce was manufactured in July 1975 for export to Hong Kong where it is believed that it was delivered to a Colonial Consulate diplomat. In 1984 it was exported to the USA where it remained with the same family for many years. In 2019 a well known USA collector, especially of Rolls Royces, Bentleys and even Bugatti, purchased the vehicle to make a European trip with his young son. The car was prepared to be mechanically perfect in every way including ice cold air-conditioning. A trip was made through France, Portugal and Germany before coming to the UK on his return. The car was swapped with a Bentley Continental R that was returned to the USA. It is described by the vendor as a beautiful car that drives superbly. Over $11,000 of Bentley receipts between 2013 and 2017 document maintenance including the rebuild of the twin SU carburettors, new brake lines, coolant flush and oil change. It also comes with import, NOVA and copy US title documents, DVLA registration paperwork, build date letter from Bentley and recent MoTs. The vendor believes the mileage to be correct at 19,905.

It is finished in silver with silver hard‑top, blue fabric interior and recent blue soft‑top, all of which functions correctly. The original roof handles are present. Fitted with optional Bundt alloys, there is a fifth Bundt spare wheel. The car also benefits from ABS and cruise control and the original factory radio is present. It is reported that it runs and drives very well, with all controls and functions working as they should. The engine is described as strong, gearbox works correctly and the brakes are good. Victorian Purple Silk and Velvet Trimmed Dress, with a ruched panel to the centre of the skirt flanked by button and tab detailing, silk trims and attached pocket; a Victorian Blue Silk Dress with a full skirt, black velvet trims, attached silk trims to the hem with scalloped edging, train to the reverse, lace trims to both cuffs, long sleeves, buttons to the front; Victorian Paisley Dress with elbow length sleeves, blue cotton double trimmed cuffs, lace collar (3). Purple dress - It has been later adapted, couple of small holes and stains, velvet purple trim and silver epaulettes later additons. Blue dress - stitched repairs and additional material added to the front waistband, other alterations to the bodice, some staining around the sleeves and lighter ones to the skirt, split to the inside of both sleeves, rubbing and wear to the button area, one button hole split. Paisley dress - the centre section of the dress is a later addition, cuffs and trim. alterations to the bodice, slight wear overall.

Early 20th Century Chinese Brocade Dressing Robes and Others, including two similar robes on a gold and silver green ground woven with Chinese pagodas, figures and carts with belts; a short sleeve full length robe with quilted collar and cuffs, buttons to the front; a pale pink silk robe woven in white with flower heads, stylish geometric quilted cuffs, large collar and pockets; a pale yellow silk robe with three quarter length sleeves, round neck, single pocket and belt; a red silk kimono jacket printed with prunus, with button fastenings and partially lined; a gold, blue and red brocade robe (6) . Two Similar Robes - belt loops broken to one, slight wear overall, rips to the inside of the pocket lining and loose threads etc. Short sleeve robe - slight wear overall. Pale pink robe - later silk belt, overall some small stains and wear, especially around the collar area. Yellow silk robe - belt loops repaired, couple of areas of rubbing and wear to the robe - otherwise ok. Red silk kimono - slight wear overall. Gold, blue and red robe - no belt, hole inside the collar at the back and some staining.

Early 20th Century Costume, comprising a blue, white and black woven sleeveless dress with a V-neckline, A-line skirt with faux pleats and a matching fabric belt; a black fine machine lace type sheer dress with capped sleeves, scooped neckline and shaped hem; black silk Chinese cheongsam style sleeveless dress, embroidered with a dragon to one shoulder in bright coloured silk threads and trimmed with silvered metallic thread to the collar, sleeve holes and hem; Janet Colton Ltd black silk taffeta a-line skirt with a tiered design and black ruffle trims; cream paisley silk long sleeved jacket with button fastening and two patch pockets; silver lame long sleeved evening jacket, printed overall with pink roses and purple violets, peplum style waist (6) . CR - Sleeveless dress - slight staining under the arms and several loose threads overall. Black sheer dress - couple of holes to the hem at the front. Chinese dress - silver trim is tarnished and some wear around the zip, bust 36”; J Colton skirt - 23” waist, couple of tiny pin prick sized holes to the back and several loose threads. Paisley jacket - 40” chest. Silver lame jacket - slight wear overall, buttons have been removed and replaced with press studs, chest 36” bust.

Circa 1940/50 Evening Wear, comprising a sleeveless shift dress in a blue and brown floral print with bow to the reverse; a brown metallic floral brocade shift dress with a pleated waistband; a Carnegie of London brown cotton shift dress with a cut work and embroidered floral mount (size 22); similar dress in blue by Riviera Model with shaped neckline; Brevise Model camel coloured boucle coat with large moulded buttons; pink brocade textured evening coat with two pockets and elbow length sleeves; Rodex silver and black patterned coat with collar, two large patch pockets; light brown Cherrys of London coat with long sleeves, one button fastening and detail to the back of the neck (8) . CR - Shift dress - 34” bust, appears to be in good condition. Brown metallic dress - 36” bust - a lot of loose threads and slight staining to the inside of the lining at the top and general wear. Carnegie brown dress - 42” bust, slight wear overall. Riviera Model blue dress - 38“ bust - slight discolouration under the arms, fading to the lining and discolouration. Brevise coat - 40” chest, fur trim to the collar is not original, and slight wear/rubbing to the jacket overall. Pink brocade coat - fading around the collar, several small holes to the lining, and some wear overall. Rodex coat - 48” bust - two buttons have staining, lining some fading and wear inside and around the neck area, some thread pulls. Cherry London coat - 43” bust, Lining is very stained especially to the back of the neck, overall slight wear.

KB green suit - waistband has been replaced/repaired, slight staining overall and wear to the edges and seams, cuffs etc. Blue dress - belt missing, some staining and slight wear. Stretlaw dress - belt is missing, fading and discolouration mainly to the back, sticker removed from inside the collar and left a mark, button holes are very worn, stitched repairs under both arms and slight wear overall. Checked dress - slight staining around the armholes and slight wear overall. Sambo Fashions dress - belt missing, staining to the white trims and slight wear overall. Navy and white dress - a later collar attached, missing belt, slight wear. Velvet coat - buttons changed position, rubbing and wear to the velvet, slight staining inside and slight wear overall. Grey jacket - small holes to one shoulder, couple of small holes to the lining, slight wear overall. Striped burgundy coat - slight wear. Cream linen jacket - good condition overall.
