Hallmarked AW.JH, 1931, 21.5cms high (damaged); A Silver Two Handled Trophy for the Yorks And Lancs Regt 2nd Bn `A` Company Staff Cup, of ovoid form with beast handles and knotted stem with circular base. Hallmarked Wilmott Manufacturing Co, Birmingham 1923, 19cms high. (2)
A Silver Plated Punch Bowl by Walker and Hall, presented by Colonel Sir John E Bingham, Bart, V.D to the Sergeant`s Dinner Club of the York and Lancaster Regiment at the commemoration dinner of the siege of Bhurtpore, 22nd February 1907. Crested ricciolo rim and decorated in relief with entwined leaves, on circular foot (bruising), 16 x 25cms. *Sir John E Bingham was manager of the cutlery, being Henry Hall`s nephew, and was also a very prominent spokesman for Protestants and the Grand Orange Lodge.
A Silver Medal, Possibly for Police, of St. George and the Dragon, within an oval of blue enamel, upon a Maltese Cross and surmounted by Victoria`s Crown; An Agricultural Championship Medal, by Toogood and Sons, Southampton; A Victorian Manchester Grammar School Medal. (3)
A Silver Oval Medallion, the large rim or frame carved with roses, the obverse engraved with crossed rifles and bayonets over a target amidst the GR cypher with Crown above, and surmounted by the legend "Loyal Sheffield Regiment 1796, the reverse engraved "This Reward of Merit was won by Ensign J Blakely, he being adjudged the best man at arms of the regt". Small loop suspender. Very Fine condition, 7.5 x 5.75cms (tests as silver).
