The first page is scripted TO JAMES HOLDEN ESQRE W.I.C.E M.I.M.E LOCOMOTIVE, CARRIAGE AND WAGON SUPERINTENDANT GREAT EASTERN RAILWAY ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM A FEW OF HIS FORMER STAFF, NOW ON THE RAILWAYS OF BRITISH INDIA, DECEMBER 1907. Then eighteen signed photographs of the contributors. A true museum piece measuring 12in x 11in x 4in.

BR (S) wooden carriage board SILVER ARROW painted silver on blue and measuring 31in long. In good condition complete with original metal ends. The Silver Arrow Flèche d'Argent was an intermodal transport service linking Victoria station in London with the Gare du Nord in Paris, via Le Touquet Airport. In operation between 1956 and the opening of the Channel Tunnel, it used a combination of rail and air transport. A rare sign in very good condition.

Hall-marked Sterling silver .925 Birmingham 1893 and inside of case engraved with full company name and 506, case also marked A&B 303.Dial enamelled L B & S C R. In working condition complete with key. Rare to see the company name on the dial.

GWR fusee bracket clock with silver engraved dial marked GWR EVANS & SONS BIRMINGHAM. Oak case with ebony stringing and GWR numberplate 2390 screwed to the inside of the back door. The chain driven fusee movement has A shaped plates with cut out to the bottom and screwed pillars. The clock also has a London style pendulum. The GWR clock winding records from Swindon Works show this as being in Mr Turners office and was wound every Thursday morning. A rare GWR timepiece in good working condition complete with pendulum and key. Case measures 13.5in tall x 9in wide x 6in deep and the dial is 6in diameter.
