An SB 14 bore flintlock fowling piece c 1820, 54” overall, 2 stage part octagonal barrel 38½” with London proofs and traces of “Dumfries” at the breech, the flat lock having French style cock, rainproof pan and roller on frizzen spring, the plate stamped “Harley”, the walnut halfstock having horn fore end cap, silver barrel wedge plates and escutcheon, chequered wrist and steel mounts including trigger guard with pineapple finial, and with brass mounted ramrod. GWO & C (barrel and mounts have been moderately pitted and cleaned, small chip from stock in front of lock).
Warwickshire Yeomanry Cavalry, AE medallion by T.W. Ingram Birm. Obv. galloping cavalrymen, with Warwick Castle beyond; rev. crowned wreath of Union Flowers, centre uninscribed. Diam 50mm, GVF and similar in design to the silver Volunteer medal given for 1848 Birmingham Riots. 26th Foot 1823 AE regimental medal, obv Religion seated presenting a medal to a soldier, rev. crowned crossed Regimental Colours on bible; by Rundell, Bridge and Rundell. A 5 shot .36” Manhattan Fire Arms Co “Navy” percussion revolver, the 4” barrel with address and patent dates (faint), number 68848 on all parts; London proved, the cylinder with series of fight scenes in foliate bordered ovals and bearing 1859 patent date; varnished walnut grips, the flat base stamped “NR Co”. Basically GC, the trigger guard retaining most original silver plated finish (trigger spring AF, barrel wedge screw missing, dark patina and surface rust overall, grip varnish patchy).
2 limited issue Dutch Tekno Scania-Vabis LB76 forward control articulated trucks. One in two tone grey J. Van Opijnen livery, cab fitted with sun visor and interior, trailer with tin tilt. Together with another example with an olive green cab with yellow flash, in Getron Spijkenisse livery, fitted with sun visor and interior. Trailer in olive green and silver with dark brown tin tilt, fitted with yellow wheels. VGC-Mint, minor spider rusting to one tin tilt. Plate 4

A good quality 70 bore percussion boxlock pocket pistol, 4¾” overall, turn off ribbed barrel 1¼”, London proved, the frame engraved with dog tooth borders, scrolls and signed “Child, London” in panel, with hidden trigger and finely chequered rounded walnut butt with engraved silver butt cap and vacant lozenge shaped escutcheon. GC (action AF, lower grip strap cracked) Plate 11

A silver plated cup, 3” high, the base stamped with eagle and swastika; a footed pewter cup, 4½”, stamped on the side with eagle and swastika (battered); a silver plated fruit bowl with looped handle, the centre stamped with small eagle and swastika (plating worn). Basically GC (could be improved). (3)
A German silver plated cup, height 13½” including lid, the body of the cup having superimposed metal Luftwaffe eagle and swastika badge on one side, the other side with circular brass plaque engraved with initial “R” in shield and stamped in very small letters “Jagdgeschwader 2/ E. Mayer/ 4.3.1941”, the lid surmounted by a 1939 Iron Cross, the base rim stamped with small phoenix (?) maker’s mark. GC (the plating tarnished and slightly worn); also “Hitler’s Mein Kampf”, the profusely illus unexpurgated English language version pub by Hutchinson & Co, with impressed red linen covered binding. An early 19th century 20 bore Turkish flintlock holster pistol, 17½” overall, barrel 11¼” overlaid with silver scrolls, stylised foliage, stars and date (?), the flat lock and cock engraved with stars and crescent and spurious maker’s name, fullstocked with brass mounts also engraved with stars and crescents. Basically GC (some wear overall, butt cap finial battered, top jaw and screw missing, action AF).
