An early 19thC Scottish provincial silver snuff mull, marked J.C, with oval lid and shaped body, marks possibly for Perth, 6cm high, 3oz. Auctioneer note: although the marks are rubbed, it looks like the Perth provincial mark, however the maker is clearly J.C, the only known provincial silver smiths using these initials were J or John Cumming, Keith of Banff.
A collection of silver plated ware, to include oval galleried two handled tray with pierced borders, an engraved basket decorated with ferns, a glass preserve jar with silver plated top and bottom, egg shaped two piece cruet, teapot, simulated ivory handled knives, oval meat platter, tea strainer, three rag rug hooks, plated plate, small square plate, tea strainer and stand etc.
