A Staniforth silver-plated biscuit box, scallop shell shaped three section form on naturalistic branch supports, floral and foliate handles, the gilded interior with pierced biscuit retainers with peg fittings, height 26cm.Condition report:In very good overall condition. All hinges open and the compartments close well. The plated finish to the shell exteriors is quite worn, especially contrasted to the underside. Shape throughout is good, no significant dings or dents.
