The jug also has a small dent and one noticeable one to the foot rim.  Both with general surface wear throughout.

A late Victorian hallmarked silver pin dish with scrolling embossed decoration, Birmingham 1892, diameter 10.5cm, also two pairs of small silver heart shaped pierced dishes, Chester 1903 and Birmingham 1899, combined approx 3.04ozt/94.8g (5).Additional InformationAll four heart shaped dishes are very soft, some splits and surface wear throughout.  The pin dish is of a better gauge, free from inscriptions to the cartouche although this is slightly sprung with a dent to the centre.  All with general surface wear.

A late Victorian hallmarked silver string box, with all over embossed scroll decoration and lift-off cap, with pierced central hole for the string and two scrolling uprights, Chester 1900, height 11cm, approx 3.9ozt/121.3g.Additional InformationThere is no blade to cut the string on the top and the two scrolling mounts are slightly misshaped and repairs where they meet the top of the lid.  It is possible that originally this was simply a trinket box and has lost the finial.  General dents throughout, the top is slightly misshaped with general surface wear.
