1920 OLYMPICS - ANTWERP Postcard with Antwerp Olympics postmark/franking on the reverse, dated 3/9/1920. The football final had been played the previous day but with the Czechs being disqualified there was now a play-off between Spain and Sweden to decide who played Holland for the silver and bronze medals and this took place on the date of this card. Good
1924 OLYMPICS- PARIS Uruguay Olympics Soccer Champions medal given by the Uruguayan FA to their players and officials after they won the gold medal at the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris. Uruguay beat Switzerland 3-1 in the Final. Silver/bronze medal with the flags of Uruguay and the Uruguay FA on front , legend on front reads "Uruguay World Champions" whilst on reverse legend reads "VIII Olimpiada Stadium Colombes- Paris 1924" with inscription in Spanish. From the collection of Jose Nasazzi who played for Uruguay. Good
