A rare silver chamber stick gadget cane top Birmingham 1890, maker's mark 'JN', in the form of a ball attached to a tapered stem, the stem unscrewing and attaching to the side of the ball to form a chamberstick, the inside of the stem vacant to hold a candle, the ball section with a hinged striker plate, opening to reveal storage space for matches, 6in.
