2000 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph 5.4 litre V12 4 door saloon  Full-service history and recently with P & A Wood Registration:  T800 ATT Chassis: SCALA61E1YCH04090 Odometer: 169000 Transmission:  Automatic  MOT: September 2023 No Reserve   . 18 stamps in the service book   . Full book pack   . Supplied with two keys    . Recent bills for circa £5000 from P & A Wood   . Fitted with rear bespoke champagne and flutes holders   . Fitted with rear seat entertainment system in both headrests     . Centre console fitted mobile phone and Parrot system Outside Finished in its original factory colour of silver, the paintwork is in good order overall apart from a few minor stone chips on the bonnet , a small bubble on the near side front wheel arch , offside rear door and offside rear quarter panel. The chrome is very good though there is some pitting to the centres of the wheels. The tyres show a good tread depth. Inside The seats are original and in fine condition with the exception of signs of minor wear on driver’s seat and driver’s door armrest. The door cards and headlining are without issue as are the carpets which have protective over mats. The woodwork all appears without damage and the steering wheel and gear lever are without issues. Mechanicals  The Rolls-Royce starts readily, the engine sounding sweet and turbine like form the 5.4 litre V12. The Seraph drives superbly with a linear power delivery, sharp brakes, precise steering and soundless suspension, evidently a very well-maintained car  History There are bills on file dating back until 2013 though the service book shows 18 stamps from new until 2020. The latest record of work completed is 23rd April 2021 from marque experts and Rolls-Royce main dealer P&A Wood amounting to £3924.06. Pleasingly there is a full book pack in the correct wallet and two sets of keys. Our opinion A rare opportunity to acquire one of only 1570 of these models produced. Our car has been used regularly and for those who know these cars this is a good thing. More importantly, it has been serviced as and when required which is evidenced with a fully stamped service book.   All Seraphs were hand built at the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe. The car had a base price of £155,175 in the UK and was powered by a 5.4 litre aluminium alloy BMW V12 engine, making it the first twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom 111. Aside from the radiator grille, badges and wheels, the Rolls-Royce was externally identical to the contemporary Bentley Arnage, sharing both its platform and bodyshell. Inside, the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph and the Bentley Arnage were similar but quite distinct from one another. In the Seraph, the gear selector was column-mounted, and the gauges followed a traditional Rolls-Royce layout (for example, there was no tachometer). In both cars, the seats and dashboard were upholstered in Connolly leather, with dashboard trim and folding picnic trays for rear passengers and burr walnut veneer.

Lot 12

1981 Rolls-Royce Corniche 6.75 litre Series 5000 3 door fixed head coupe Harvey-Bailey handling kit fitted with original beige Connolly hide interior  Registration: VEX 207X Chassis:  CRH0050666 Odometer: 72000 Transmission: Automatic  MOT: October 2023 Guide £30,000-£35,000  . Full book pack including service book   . Factory handbook  . Everflex roof with quarter badges  . Correct period audio equipment   . Leather headlining  . Headlight wipers  . History file showing work done by P & A Wood and Shadow Vehicle Services   . One of only 1108 cars produced  . Complete with correct Rolls-Royce too kit Outside Finished in its original factory colour of Seychelles blue. The wheel arches and rear panels show no sign of rust or repair. The paintwork is in generally good order overall apart from a tiny stone chip on the bonnet and some very small paint bubbles , namely offside rear wing above the swage line , near side front wing and door just below the glass . There are some very small bubbles under the Everflex roof above the rear window and front window driver’s side. The chrome is very good all round. The wheels and hub caps are without issue , the tyres show a good tread depth. Inside The seats are original and in fine condition with the exception of signs of minor wear on driver’s door armrest. The door cards and headlining are without issue as are the carpets and pleasingly the correct MPW drivers mat is present and undamaged. The woodwork all appears without damage, chrome and dials excellent as is the steering wheel. Mechanicals  The Rolls-Royce runs sweetly and drives as it should with plenty to power and a supple ride. The handling is very good due to the fitment of the Harvey Bailey kit. The brakes operate effectively and the suspension operates as it should. History There are bills on file dating back until 2006 and pleasingly the full book pack is present including the service book shows stamps from new until 2008 at 69573 miles. The latest record of work completed is 3rd January 2018 which records a full service at 70661 miles and then on 7th April 2018 with work carried out by marque specialist and Rolls-Royce main dealer P&A Wood.     Our opinion This car was supplied new by Mann Egerton & Co in October 1981, making it one of the very last of the 1,108 Fixed Head Coupes to be built, before Rolls-Royce ceased production of the hard top Corniche variant for good in March 1981. The production date of March would indicate that this car spent several months being coach built by Mulliner Park Ward. These “last hurrah” cars (built between 1979-1981) are known as the 5000 Series cars and benefitted from vastly upgraded handling and finishes over the earlier cars. They share the majority of the same suspension and handling components as their successor, the later Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit. Our car is finished in its original colour combination of Seychelles blue with beige hide interior and present very well in all areas with beautiful woodwork. On the road, the Corniche drives very well and the upgraded handling of the 5000 series is clearly evident couple with the fitment of the Harvey-Bailey handling kit which for those who know  totally transforms these cars. These coach-built cars have long been undervalued though the market has finally recognised that they represent excellent value and due to the rarity are tipped as a very strong future investment.

Lot 16

2004 Porsche Boxster S 3.2 litre 2 door convertible Recent IMS bearing, clutch, alternator and 22 stamps in the service book Registration: BX04 UZS Chassis: WP0ZZZ98Z4U641413 Odometer: 73500 Transmission: Manual MOT: January 2024 Guide £8,000-£10,000    ·     Full book pack including fully stamped (22) service book    ·     Supplied with Porsche certificate of authenticity    ·     Bills for £5200 in the past three years    ·     Comprehensive history file dating back until new in 2004    ·     Supplied with two keys    ·     Recent work carried out by marque experts RPM and Paul Garland Ltd    ·     Fitted with Super sound exhaust system and manifold Outside  The cars arctic silver paintwork presents extremely well with very few imperfections which consist of a few small stone chips to the frontal area's, a small scuff to front off side bumper in front of the wheel and a very small dent on the boot lid less than the size of a 5 pence piece which looks like its come from some closing the boot lid onto something.   The hood is in excellent condition with no tears or rips and no deformation.  All four of it's 18 inch Carrera wheels are damage free with each one showing signs of corrosion to the paintwork around the centre caps. The centre caps have also dulled with age and can be replaced inexpensively.   Inside  The interior of this Boxster is near perfect which can only be faulted on the slightest of wear on the drivers seat bolster. The black carpets are good and the cabin is dry and damp free. It also has that familiar Porsche smell which seems to have disappeared  in the later generation cars.   Mechanical The car pulls well through all 6 gears and stops effectively and straight, with the Super Sound sports exhaust not being too intrusive as some can be. All the while you are accompanied by the throaty flat 6 induction noise from that wonderful 3.2 S engine.   All for tyres are in good condition with plenty of tread left.  History   The service history book has 5 stamps from various Porsche centres the last being Porsche Centre West London in 2015 at 33,380 from which time the maintenance is taken over by specialists including Zuffenhaus, RPM Specialist Cars and Paul Garland. Its last service being carried out by Paul Garland on 22/03/2021 at 63340 miles. There are many receipts on file and importantly the car has had its IMS bearing and clutch replaced around 10,000 miles ago.  Optional extras fitted when new include 18” Carrera wheels, CD box and autochanger, wheel centres with Porsche crest, top tinted screen, electronic air conditioning, park assist sensors, on board computer, Bose surround system with wind deflector, side skirts, Porsche crest embossed on head rests. Our Opinion  We are delighted to be able to offer this magnificent and highly desirable Boxster S finished in arguably the best colour scheme of Artic silver metallic with black leather interior. Offered with a full book pack which evidences a full and comprehensive service history from new, its clear this Porsche has been lovingly maintained throughout its life.  On the road, the Porsche is a delight to drive, the clutch being light and the whole package is tight and responsive. No need to use the audio equipment, just drop the roof and listen to the fabulous exhaust note. This car wants for nothing and is ready to use and enjoy for the season, and sure fire solid investment.

Lot 19

2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI-TP UK AWD 2.5 litre turbo 4 door saloon car One owner since 200 miles and full Subaru main dealer Service history   Registration:  FV61 XMG Chassis: JF1GVFKH3BG015157 Odometer: 115000 Transmission:  Manual MOT: February 2024 Guide £8,000-£10,000  . Subaru main dealer service history from new  . Full book pack with two keys  . Totally standard and unmodified specification  . Pirelli tyres all round Outside  Presented in stunning Silver this car is a testament to the previous owner as other than a few minor stone chips to the bonnet and small scuff on rear near side wheel arch there isn't much we can fault this car on. All 4 wheels have been refurbished recently and all four matching Pirelli tyres have good tread depth remaining.   Inside  Typical Japanese interior; simple but functional is in excellent order with some slight wear on the drivers seat bolster and the seat base bolster is also showing some signs of distortion commensurate with the mileage displayed. The rest of the black interior is excellent with the carpets and steering wheel showing little signs of wear. Mechanical  The security of that wonderful low down turbo charged flat four allows these Subaru's to give the driver total confidence when pushing on and this one is no different. It fires instantly from cold with no undue smoke or rattles and drives well through all the gears. With a comprehensive history file including full Subaru service history from new, this Scooby has wanted for nothing.  History  A 2 owner car with its latest recorded owner purchasing the car in March 2013 our Impreza has a full Subaru dealer service history the first stamp of 13 being on 4/12/12@258 miles and the last being its 120k mile service at 107,787.    Our Opinion  These last of the line Impreza's look amazing value compared to some of the earlier models, and this one's impeccable maintenance history and condition looks like its covered less than half its recorded mileage. A good fun car that would be happy either as a daily driver or weekend Samurai warrior.

Lot 45

2003 Vauxhall Corsa GLS 16V 1199cc 5 door hatchback Single Family ownership since virtually new and in totally original specification Registration: DU53WUW Chassis: W0L0XCF6834415492 Odometer: 59,105 Transmission: 5 Speed Manual Petrol MOT: December 2023 . One family ownership since virtually new . Totally standard and as it left the factory . Always been kept in a garage . Blaupunkt audio system . Offered with original book pack including service book Outside  The Silver paintwork is in fair overall condition though there are a few areas of minor damage , namely on the offside front spoiler , near side rear wing and spoiler and a few stone chips to the bonnet area. The wheel trims are in good order and there is plenty of tread to the tyres. Inside  The interior is totally original and there are no rips or tears to the seating area, door cards or headlining. The carpets and in good order and have been protected by rubber over mats all through the current ownership. The dashboard is without damage though the gear lever gaiter is well worn. Mechanicals  The 1200cc engine fires into life instantly and quickly settles down to a smooth idle. On the road the Corsa drives as it should with good brakes, suspension, steering and smooth gear changes. History  There is a full Vauxhall book pack, some old mot certificates and some service invoices dating back until 2004. Our Opinion  This Corsa has been with the same family since just a year old and has been garaged all though the ownership. Apart from a few small paint issues, it is in really nice overall condition. This car is an ideal entry to the increasingly popular Hagerty  Festival of the unexceptional or of course just an economical daily driver.

Lot 8

1989 Volkswagen Golf GTI 1.8 litre 3 door hatchback Original specification hot hatch with comprehensive history file  Registration: F386 TWP Chassis: WVWZZZ19ZJW668007 Odometer: 121000 Transmission: Manual MOT: 9th February 2024 No Reserve   . Fitted with factory tilt /slide sunroof   . Optional BBS alloy wheel    . Original interior and dashboard without any cracks   . Two sets of keys   . Fully documented history from 1998 until 2005   . Full book pack including service book   . Comprehensive history file  Outside  On the whole the exterior of this car looks good with no scratches, dents or corrosion to the bodywork, however the car has been subject to a repaint at some point in its past which hasn't been done to the highest standard. In some areas the silver paint work looks a little flat and isn't as smooth to the touch as it should be. This shouldn't detract from what is a very good car and would be an excellent car one the paintwork has been addressed. All the plastics are good with no damage, marks or scratches. The 15" BBS alloy wheels look great and are shod with excellent matching tyres all around.  Inside  The cloth seats are in excellent order with only a small sign of wear on the drivers seat base bolster where the bolster is slightly thread bare in an area around 5 mm in size. The car comes with electric windows and a modern stereo. All carpets are in good order as is the headlining and the parcel shelf is still present and free from any speaker holes. The doors have that familiar heavy feel and pleasing shut noise only found on VW's from this era.   Mechanics The torquey 8 valve engine starts and runs well, and the driving experience is a pleasure. Everything feels tight and solid just like a Golf should, the only fault being a temperamental cheap aftermarket alarm system which means the hazard lights sometimes come on. We feel it would be better removed.  History Supplied new under lease to Banque Paribas it remained with them until circa 1991. It then passed to another owner before being acquired by William Barnaby of Kilmarnock in 1998 who kept the car until 2005 during which time kept a fastidious log of all works carried out along with the relevant invoices. The car comes complete with a full book pack, comprehensive service history and two sets of keys. Our Opinion  Rare to find an example that has not been modified and messed about with. Our car offers and inexpensive route into the vibrant VW scene.
