A Victorian silver-mounted double-hearts photograph frame. With a broad spiral-lobed 'hit and miss' surround and two vacant oval cartouches, mark of William Comyns, London 1895, 19cm high overall (7 1/2 inches), 26cm wide (10 1/4 inches) Condition Report: Generally in good condition. Tarnishing to the silver, details are still crisp. Some small dents (mainly to the edges). Two screws missing. Th back stand is missing. Slight wear to the silver including scratches consistent with age and usage. The silver isn't securely attached to the stand and the velvet has some areas of discolouration.
A late Victorian silver campana shaped three piece cruet set. Each with two leaf-capped flying scroll handles, a moulded band and stepped foot, the mustard in the form of a small trophy-cup with a domed cover, mark of Elkington & Co, Birmingham 1898-1900, the three 185g gross; together with two associated silver small spoons, various dates and makers and another plated; in a brown leather cartouche shaped fitted case with velvet and blue silk lining marked 'Elkington & Co.' Condition Report: Overall good condition for age general light wear and tear commensurate with age and use, All of a good solid guage, both the salts interiors require a good clean and show traces of former gilding. The mustard 'wobbles' very slightly on a flat surface.. Marks good though the maker's mark on one salt rubbed but legible. Spoons good. Box good, hinge solid, closes with a satisfying 'snap', some of the interior a little worn and spoon elastics are stretched and one broken. general external scuffs including on the top front 'crease' (see photos) as expected for a box in use for 120 years.

The 19 graduated old-cut diamonds approx. 2.50cts total, all claw set in silver collets on a goldframe, approx. 30mm wide overall, 5g gross; in a later blue-velvet covered fitted case Condition Report: Overall very good condition, requires a clean only. The diamonds are very bright and lively. colour about I/J, clarity about VS, no inclusions visilble to the naked eye and all take several seconds to locate with a 10X loupe. The diamonds graduated approx. 4.2mm diameter to 1.7mm diameter

With two double-scroll handles, a slightly exerted rim, an embossed band flanked by engraved leaves, and part hit and miss spiral flutes, engraved with initials 'RN', Britania standard marks for Joseph Stokes, London 1700, 10cm high, 11.5cm diameter (4 x 4 1/2 inches), 241g (7 3/4 ozs) Condition Report: Overall good condition for age, about 6.5 out of 7(?). General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. Shallow 'dents' and 'dings' to the fluting. The rim has several outer 'cracks approx. 2-4mm long that do not show on the inside. No obvious signs of repairs. The outline of the tops of both handles are visible on the inside. Marks clear though some rubbing as expected.
