A polished bronze award statuette won by Peter Boizot in 1989, modelled as a female nude holding aloft a oversized clam shell, on circular marble socle, attached brass plaque reading 'The Caterer & Hotel Keep Awards 1989, Food Service award, Sponsor Lyons-Tetley, Peter Boizot', 11.5 by 35.5cm high, together with a silver plated pricket with knopped column and circular base, 13 by 29.5cm high, and a German stein with hinged pewter lid and musical Thorens 'Holzhackerbua' moevment to base, 12. by 28cn high. (3)Provenance: From the deceased Estate of Peter Boizot MBE (1929-2018), the founder of Pizza Express and previous owner of Peterborough Football Club, The Great Northern Hotel and The Broadway Theatre, who was born and died in Peterborough. He was well known as an engaging and cordial host, a great philanthropist and as a lover of jazz, hockey and of course pizza.
