CONDITION REPORT Approx 574g. The domed cover is slightly misshapen, it does not close tightly, there is a gap. The finial has been compressed in and dented. Hallmarks are clear, minor surface scratching and tarnishing. Free from any engraving or inscription. Overall just general surface wear.

Lot 971

A late Victorian hallmarked silver scent bottle of octagonal form, with all-over foliate scroll engraved detail and vacant central cartouche, the hinged lid enclosing a replaced stopper, Birmingham 1900, height 8.75cm. CONDITION REPORT Overall in very good condition. As detailed, the stopper is replaced and there are a couple of tiny nibbles to the inner glass rim. Traces of gilt washed interior, but generally just surface wear.

Lot 972

A late Victorian hobnail cut glass and hallmarked silver mounted scent bottle of globular form, Birmingham 1899, height 12.5cm. CONDITION REPORT The hinge is damaged and the lid is therefore detached. Dents and surface scratches to the silver cover. A couple of tiny chips to the glass, but overall ok.

A pair of George V hallmarked silver candlesticks, the Neo-Classical design with Corinthian column tops, on a tapered fluted vase stem, raised on cascading stepped base, Williams Ltd, Birmingham 1914, height approx 20cm, base 9 x 9cm (loaded bases) (2). CONDITION REPORT There are some indents, small pin marks. One of them has ripples and creases where the bottom of the stem meets the base. Otherwise in good useable condition.
