A fine ‘O’ gauge, electric powered LNER A3 Pacific. Gresley A3 4-6-2 tender locomotive ‘Papyrus’, RN 2750. A polished nickel over brass finish, without number or LNER ownership. Impressive detail with vacuum pipes, drop-link couplings, lamps to buffer beam, works plates to sides of smokebox, brake gear, lubricators and cab detailing. Mounted on a dark wood plinth with text: ‘Awarded a Silver Medal and the H.C.Wheat Challenge Cup for the best ‘O’ gauge Model 1975 Model Engineer Exhibition’. ‘Working ‘O’ gauge model by John Brierley’. Also a plate referring to World Record for non-streamlined locomotives 1935. VGC, smokebox door handles missing. Plate. 1

A set of Birmingham Mint silver ingots A limited edition boxed 25-item set, actually with 26, being a commemorative series Milestones of Manned Flight. Each c2" x 1" ingot depicts a famous event or craft such as the Wright Brothers first powered flight (1903), Lindbergh’s solo transatlantic flight (1927), Spitfire (1940), Harrier (1967) and Concorde (1976). The additional ingot appears to be of a De Havilland Comet racer, incorrectly dated 1952. Also some correspondence between buyer and makers. Mounted in a wooden display box with blue felt backing and a perspex cover, minor wear, contents GC, some scratching.

Plus a Superior Ambulance on Cadillac chassis (437) in red and cream. Both boxed. Some damage to 1104.Vehicles VGC-minor chipping.
A rare Dinky ‘Mail Order’ issue Ford Anglia 105E (155) in very pale green with no silver detailing! With red interior and spun wheel hubs. Boxed (a good later replacement). Vehicle VGC very minor chip. N.B. These examples were also issued to the Ford Motor Company to mark the first Ford made on Merseyside Liverpool in March 1963. Some were fixed on plinths as souvenirs.
