{} A Set of Twenty Four Victorian Silver Prawn or Hors d'Oeuvres Forks, Martin Hall & Co, Sheffield 1892/93, the handles with ivory shaft and ball finial, in a fitted retailers case marked Elkington & Co, Liverpool, each 12cm long All clearly marked. Crack running the length of the ivory handle to four examples, one or two others with shorter cracks. Scratching and scuffing to case exterior, Sotheby's label ''Country House Sale 576A'' to cover.
{} A Silver Fish Service, George Howson, Sheffield 1930, comprising a pair of servers and twelve pairs of knives and forks, all with pistol grip ivory handles, the forks of three prong design, the knives with scimitar shaped blades, in a fitted case (26) All pieces with clear marks. Blades, tines and collars all marked. Split to the handle on one knife. Scratches and some signs of use, most visible on the knife blades. The silver of good gauge, overall excellent quality.

Hilliard example probably with a repair of the junction of the handle, fully marked to end of handle, maker's mark slightly obscured. Whitten example is a good gauge, marks are slightly worn, and some wear to the detail in the flowers and foliage on the handle.

{} A Pair of Early Victorian King's Pattern Silver Asparagus Tongs, Mary Chawner, London 1838; A William IV Silver Fiddle Pattern Fish Slice, William Chawner 1830, with pierced blade engraved with a crest of a sea-lion couchant holding a star; and A Pair Edwardian Silver Cake Servers or Asparagus Tongs, William Hutton, London 1902, the largest, 30.5cm long, 17.3ozt (3) Asparagus tongs with clear marks and appear generally in good order. The fish slice also with clear marks, blade with signs of a bend towards the handle, a small split to one side of the handle junction. The cake servers appear in good order.

Some wear to the high points of the decoration. The spoons with nice bright gilding, some wear on the heel of the bowl and reverse of terminals. Marks clear.

Repair to upper junction of handle and surrounding rim. A few knocks to the corners of the foot. Bateman example: clear marks to underside of foot. Two drill holes to the rim of the foot, possibly previously mounted? Decoration is clear and appears period.

Monograms engraved to the side of each piece. Cover part marked with a little sideways play at the hinge. One or two small knocks around the bases. Handle of teapot slightly poorly fitting at junctions, possibly a replacement.
