Iron ring-nut, with remains of silver-inlaid undulated lines. grip with antique covering in fish skin, remains of silk lacing. Iron cap, decorated in silver. No scabbard. length 84.5 cm.

dating: 19th Century provenance: Tibet, The sword with straight, single-edged blade, with outlined fuller near the back. Silver foil hilt with small ring-nut, almost cylindrical grip with brass wire binding in the center and trefoil pommel. All the silver surface engraved with rinceaux. A cabochon coral in the center of pommel. Wooden scabbard covered with leather dyed in black, cap with a dragon's head, chape with iron band, silver front plate and copper back (probably replaced). Together with a single-edged accompanying knife. Grip en suite with the sword, in silver, with brass band and cabochon coral, a lug on the back. Scabbard with silver cap shaped as dragon's head, silver foil in the front part, iron band on the border, copper on the back. length 84 - 42,5 cm.

A silver escutcheon in the lower part of the butt side, with letters 'ES'. Horn butt-plate. In a leather case with Greener label. length 119,2 cm.

dating: 1875-1890 provenance: England, A double-barrelled shotgun with round, smooth-bore, cal. 12 barrels, finished (some slight pitting), provided with rib with fore-sight and marking 'W.W. GREENER 68 HAYMARKET LONDON WINNER AT THE LONDON GUN TRIALS 1875 1877 1878 & 1879', engraved with rinceaux at the base. Receiver with various marking, test-bed stamps and serial number '35xxx', elegantly engraved with rinceaux and flowers alongside, signed 'W.W. GREENER'; tang with opening lever, finished and engraved. Wooden butt with checkered grip, a safety lock slide on the left side, a silver escutcheon below, with remains of a crown, finished trigger-guard, marked with matching serial number. Mechanics and core in very good conditions. The other shotgun with slightly different mechanics and decorations, cal. 12 as well, serial number '30xxx' matching on all the parts, butt with gilded escutcheon, with initials 'LM' surmounted with a noble crown. Mechanics and core in very good conditions. In a wooden, suitcase-shaped case, leather-covered outside and with a handle, Greener labels inside (later?) and lined with red cloth. Provided with various tools, among which: oil bottle, ramrod, various brushes, screwdrivers with marking, lever to arm the firing pins, leather casing for barrels, and others. Fine matched pair with high quality engravings. length 112,5 - 117,5 cm.
