A superb collection of Great British Locomotive Ingots Limited edition set of 50 silver ingots, struck by John Pinches Ltd to commemorate the inauguration of the National Railway Museum in 1975. The ingots measure approx 2" x 1" and are etched with such greats as the Black 5, Deltic, Evening Star, Flying Scotsman, Mallard and Stephenson`s Rocket. Presented in a tasteful stained wooden chest measuring c30" x 12" x 3" with red felt inner lining. Complete with certificate of authenticity and accompanying book, Great British Locomotives, still in original sealed cover.
