A collection of Chinese jadeite jewellery, comprising three rings with gold coloured metal shanks, two marked ‘18k’, a drop pendant and three pais of earrings, together with a Chinese silver-gilt coloured metal ‘dragon’ brooch, decorated with seal marks, 4.8cm. Provenance: acquired by the current vendor’s grandfather who became a teaching missionary in Amoy, China in 1906. This lot was brought back to Britain in 1941 when his widow was repatriated.
