Dinky Pre-war No.28/1 Trade Box (A1008) circa 1938 for 6 Type 2 Delivery Vans, from a private collection since new containing 6 correct Vans for the box variation including No. 28A Golden Shred with light cream body with Golden Shred Marmalade and Silver shred logos to sides, smooth black cast hubs, white tyres. The toy does have some fatigue crazing to be expected on these type 2 issues however still displays as VG to E with very minimal paint loss. No. 28B Seccontine with french blue body and golden lettering depicting Seccotine Sticks Everything to both sides, smooth black cast hubs, white tyres. This example is well preserved with some minor crazing present hence displays as generally E with minimal to zero paint loss. No. 28C Manchester Guardian with red body and gold lettering depicting Manchester Guardian to both sides, smooth black cast hubs and white tyres. Some minor fatique crazing but displays well with minimal paint loss. No. 28E Firestone Tyres with dark blue body with Firestone Tyres Made in England Red / Black Lettering to both sides, smooth black cast hubs, white tyres. Another finely preserved example with minor fatigue crazing and minimal paint loss. E. No. 28F Virol with yellow body and Give your child a constitution / bottle logo to both sides. Smooth black hubs and white tyres. Minor crazing and paint loss showcases this fine preserved example. No. 28N ATCO with green body, ATCO motor mowers Sales and Service to both sides. Smooth Black Hubs, white tyre. Exceptionally well preserved with very little crazing nor paint loss. Due to toys being stored in tradebox for many years, there is some minor distortion on tyres however all contained in a superbly excellent trade box with dividers. Closer inspections welcome and advised to appreciate the quality of this complete pre-war delivery van trade box.
