He later joined the Home Guard and was then attached to the Queen's Royal Regiment. The Thames Hare and Hounds is the oldest cross-country running club in the world and was formed in 1868 and continues to run on Wimbledon Common.Condition report: Overall good order. Some wear and minor knocks. 5.5cm high.

The star-cut base is worn and scratched. End of handle stamped '2'. Internally with scratches and marks. Some micro chipping to the underneath of the cut base.
