Beautiful silver serving tray, rectangular model with small lobes, beautiful manufacturing quality with large decoration hemmed with a fruit motif (pomegranates...) on the border. Oriental work from the south Caucasus, probably Persian, several guarantee hallmarks to be identified. End of the 19th century. We insist on quality, which is unusual. Silver cigarette case, very elegant extra flat square model, thumb rest, recto and verso engravings with naturalistic subject (fine stylized bamboo branches at angles), golden silver interior, dedication engraved in Japanese ideogram, work around 1930, in its original case. Dimensions 8 x 7.5 cm, weight 78.2 g. We point out that Japanese silver cigarette cases are rare, most made of other materials (wood), the one we are presenting is probably Russian made.
