A pair of 18th Century Louis XV style silver twin handled sweetmeat baskets, of oval form, the pierced lattice work body draped with laurel garlands, each side with central profile portrait framed with a laurel wreath and surmounted by a tied bow, the handles wrapped with ribbons, raised on foliate C scroll mask feet, Paris control crowned G dated letter, London import marks for 1894, 14cm, approx 273.1g (2).

A fine mid 19th Century French table salt, the slice cut crystal shell shaped bowls raised on the tails of scrolled mythical dolphins, on oval stepped base with egg and dart border raised on four scallop shell feet, with central silver gilt rope twist carrying handle on stem, initialled, French control marks, stamped to base Maison Froment Meurice and with makers mark, 16.5cm h.
