The bore has scattered pitting marks and is generally dirty. The metalwork on the outside of the rifle has overall pitting. The hammer has some damages to the point where the cap covers the nipple. The nipple is damaged. The action only cocks when the rear trigger is set first. When cocking the gun it does not appear to have a half cock. The stock has a repair to the toe. There is also two filled patches either side of the sling loop and some filling around the buttplate join. The is a crack to the stock beside the side nail. The ramrod cap has been replaced. There are several screws that look to have been replaced.

The bore has pitting throughout, strangely the rifling is straight with no twist.
