Bank of Neverpay, joke notes for 1 Dud (2), ND (1930s), serial number IOU 1234567, in the style of a US Silver certificate, in this case a ‘phoney certificate’, the reverse clearly saying that the note is ‘not worth the paper it is printed on’, very fine and fine (2 notes) Outing unlisted £20-£30 --- The creator of these notes, E&S London, were manufacturers of Magic Sets and all kinds of practical joke equipment in the 1930s. Whether these were sold individually or as part of a set of another kind is unknown.
