A late Victorian Britannia standard hallmarked silver christening mug of tapering form with band decoration and S-shaped bead decorated handle, inscribed "Harold April 27th 1901" to the front and "From Grand Papa to prepare for future potations", Lambert & Co, London 1900, height 10.5cm, in original case, approx 11.7ozt.
A Charles Horner hallmarked silver pendant in the form of a butterfly, the pierced design having pale blue guilloche enamel wings and a darker blue body, suspended from a sterling silver integral chain, length 46cm, Chester 1911, width of butterfly 4cm. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition, enamel intact. Tip of one of the wings is a bit shorter but doesn't appear to be damaged, rather an imperfection. One of the suspension rings is split.
**AMENDED DESCRIPTION** A group of six hallmarked silver and one white metal thimbles, six within associated cases, including an example by Charles Horner, other late Victorian examples including Birmingham 1894, Birmingham 1896, also an Edwardian example, Birmingham 1903, one unboxed (7). CONDITION REPORT: Unboxed example has holes to end, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

A collection of six silver thimbles in cases, comprising a domed Mauchline Ware case, containing a flower head decorated thimble, size 18, James Swan, Birmingham 1901, a pierced vegetable ivory acorn shaped screw top case, containing a 935 standard silver thimble with guilloche enamel band, an egg shaped case containing a thimble decorated with all over dots, size 14, Birmingham 1927, a bone circular screw top case containing a flower head decorated thimble with dot border, size 7, Birmingham, probably 1919 and two other cased silver thimbles (6). CONDITION REPORT: Mauchline Ware case has a slight ripple to the transfer. Vegetable ivory case has internal natural fracture but the thimble is OK. Bone example has splits and holes to thimble. Two leather case examples both have holes.

Condition report:Generally in good condition. Engraving crisp, no dents. Maker Edwards and Jones on blade. Blade slightly loose when closed but tight when open. Sheffield 1913. Scratch on one side in front of fin.The length is 7cm, 10.3 with blade extended.
Two stirrup cups from the first half of the 19th century, one white but for a silver lustre rim, the other in earthenware, the interior white glaze. Condition report: The brown one: some wearing on the rim, chipped ear, minor surface scratches. The white one: minor chips, wearing to silver band, a firing mark below ear, surface wearing.
