1974 Jaguar XJ6 4.2 Auto Series IIMake: Jaguar Model: XJ6 Year: 1974Mileage: 26000VIN: 2T5704BWConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: GPD111NTransmission: automatic This Fern Grey Series II Jaguar XJ6 L 4.2 Automatic, registered in October 1974, has been off the road since 1991. It was bought from a Jaguar collector with its engine removed due to piston damage. A new engine was subsequently fitted, although the original unit is included with the sale. The odometer shows circa 26,000 miles and there has been one previous owner. The paperwork folder is quite extensive. It includes an old V5 document along with the original bill of sale (when the cost was £4913.87, less part exchange on an earlier XJ6) and service and maintenance records and invoices that seem to verify the low mileage. These start from when the car was new and stretch through to when it was taken off the road, with most of them coming from the supplying dealership, Barnard Motors Ltd of Haslemere in Surrey. The Jaguar/British Leyland 'Passport to Service' booklet is stamped up to 18,057 miles in 1979. The only recent bill is from January 2022 for new black and silver numberplates. The vendor believes the Jaguar to be 'very structurally sound with a very nice interior'. Although we have heard this car running briefly, the fuel system requires cleaning out and further recommissioning work before use. As such this Jaguar will not be driven through the auction.

The vendor describes the car as performing very well and remaining in lovely condition throughout. 2000 Mercedes CLK 55 AMG Coupe 32,102 miles from new Make: Mercedes Model: CLK55 AMGYear: 2000Mileage: 32102VIN: WDB2083742F143642Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: W344MECTransmission: automatic The first-generation W208/C208 CLK was introduced in 1997, as a range of luxury mid-sized coupes and convertibles. The flagship model was the high-performance CLK 55 AMG, which debuted in 2000 and gave impressive performance thanks to its 342bhp 5.4-litre V8 engine. This silver coupe example, with black leather interior and carbon fibre inserts on the centre console, was registered in June 2000 and has had four former keepers. It has obviously been very well looked after over its 21 years, and is in very good condition inside and out, perfectly in-keeping with something that has only covered just over 32,000 miles (the actual total being 32,102). The spec includes a sat nav and electric sunroof. The paperwork folder includes the current and previous V5Cs and original document wallet, with owner's manual, COMAND audio, telephone and navigation system guide, and service book. This confirms the low mileage and records the last service as having been on the 31 January 2020 at 32,071 miles. However, a March 2021 invoice details a further service in March 2021 at 32,074 miles. There's also a hand-written note about a new fuel pump being fitted in February 2020, due to a blockage. There are also most MoT certificates (the current one expires in March 2022) from 2003 onwards, finally, there's also a copy of an Evo magazine article reviewing the model. A spare key is also included. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
