A Victorian Silver 'Castle-Top' Card-Case, by Hilliard and Thomason, Birmingham, 1851, oblong, the front stamped with a view of the chapel at King's College, Cambridge, within foliage scrolls, the back with foliage scrolls centring a vacant cartouche, the hinge defective, 10.2cm high, 2oz 7dwt, 74grFully marked on bezel. There is some wear to the marks but they are generally still legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points. This is particularlly noticeable to the view of King's College chapel which is rather soft. The hinge is broken and so the detaches completely.

An Indian Silver Vase, Apparently Unmarked, Probably Kutch, Dated 1900, tapering and on spreading foot, chased overall with foliage scrolls on a textured ground, the lower body chased with birds, the flaring rim pierced, engraved below the rim with an inscription, the base bruised, 21cm high, 14oz 13dwt, 456grThe inscription reads 'To Mrs Moor From The Masters and Students of the Grasea [?] College Gondal February 1900'. The stem is pushed into the base which causes the vase to lean noticeable. The tip is lacking from the rim and the others with some bruising. Overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use.
