An Edwardian silver mounted mirror, Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1902, the shaped mirror with embossed scrolling floral surround, blue fabric reverse with easel stand, 32cm wide, 26cm high (at fault) CR; Heavy denting, piercing and splitting the the highpoints throughout. Possible signs of solder repair in some places. Mount is lifting in several places around the mirror. Some of the pins are loose in places. The mirror is in good order, no cracks chips or losses. Staining and wear to the blue felt lining, mostly concentrated to the border. Easel is in working order.

Knop in good order and secure. Hinged cover opens smoothly and closes flush.

A Chinese silver cigarette case, Wang Hing, early 20th century, of rounded rectangular form, the cover embossed with a scrolling, scaly dragon, gilt interior, 8.6cm x 8cm, weight 99.1gmsCR; Some minor nicks and dents to the edges and reverse of the case. Moderate scratching and wear throughout. The pin at the top of the hinge is heavily worn and slightly loose, as a result the hinge is slightly loose. Interior is heavily scratched and worn, elasticated straps are heavily pulled and frayed in places. Case opens with ease and closes with a snap, button mechanism in working order, however the sides do not sit completely flush.
