A George III silver tea and coffee set, by Joseph Craddock & William Ker Reid, London 1819, comprising:- a coffee pot on warmer base, the body of tapering circular form the girdle formed as a band of paterae below a cast foliate and floral border, foliate decorated handle and spout, the heater base with three claw and ball feet supporting a central spirit burner, 24cm high; the matching teapot, 13cm high and sugar basin 11.5cm high, coffee pot and basin crested, presentation inscriptions to all, 65.96oz (3) Coffee pot and burner with some bruises to the lower body, the teapot has similar bruises and two large and obvious patches to the body, the sugar basin has bruises to the body
Two similar Queen Anne silver casters, by Charles Adam, London circa 1708, each of baluster form with moulded edges and girdle, pierced covers with ball finials and bayonet fastenings, one 19.5cm high, 7.59oz, the other 18.5cm, 7.15oz (2) The larger intact without splits or repairs but extensive light bruising to the body and cover and significant wear to the marks, maker's mark only on the cover. The smaller in similar condition.

An Edwardian Britannia standard silver ewer, by George Fox, London 1909, the globular hand beaten body raised on a short pedestal, spool shape neck with 'C' scroll handle with two ivory insulators, the neck of the body, the foot and the cover decorated with bands of chased scrolling, the cover with entwined twin berry thumbpiece, engraved with the Peel crest and inscribed 'To Sydney Cornwallis Peel on his marriage 18th February 1914 from his Brother Officers in The Bedfordshire Yeomanry', 27.75cm, 43.55oz Provenance: Peel was Colonel commanding The Bedfordshire Yeomanry although he served as a Trooper in The Imperial Yeomanry during the South African War. Peel sat as Member of Parliament for Uxbridge between 1918 and 1922. In 1936 he was created a Baronet, he was twice engaged to Clementine Hozier and she had twice broken it off. (She later married Winston Churchill) In very good condition, some discoloured cracking to the ivory insulators
