A FIRST WORLD WAR PERIOD GEORGE V LARGE REGIMENTAL SILVER PRESENTATION TWIN-HANDLED TRAY, hallmarked for Martin Hall & Co. Sheffield 1911, oval, with boldly gadrooned rim and with fluted handles, centred by an inscription "Presented by the Officers, Inniskilling Dragoons........27th January 1915" and engraved with facsimile signatures of the presenting officers. Across handles, approx. 92 troy ounces Note: the regiment landed in France in January 1915 having served prior to this in India and was committed to the Western Front during most of the Great War.
